Windows situated at statically relevant points in the façade have a special attraction — for example, all-glass corners. They make the separation between the outside skin and the supporting system literally visible. For the interior, a corner glazing offers maximum light and visibility, particularly if the openings are the full height of the room. For design solutions that require the largest possible glass content in the corner area as well, Internorm offers the all-glass corner.
In combination with the HS 330 timber/aluminium lift and slide door and narrow frame profiles or the rendering of the fixed side part on three sides, the frame ratio in the façade is noticeably reduced. Internal and external corner models offer maximum freedom in design.
But the HF 310, HF 210 and HV 350 timber/aluminium windows, as well as the KF 410 UPVC and UPVC/aluminium window, can be combined with the all-glass corner to make a bank of windows that runs around a corner. The maximum design size is 3600 mm x 2550 mm. Due to the condensation issue in the corner area, the models are only produced with triple glass (36, 42, 48 mm) and ISO spacers. From a glass weight of 120 kg, there is a heavy-duty model.
A further option: UPVC profiles allow all-glass corners with an angle of 70–140°.
